Dots on Dots

We finally made it to Texas! I had all these great, comfy sweaters packed for our trip but had to reevaluate my options when I checked the weather. I’m not complaining about the 70 degree weather but I was really stoked about these sweaters. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of time to wear them in PA because from what all the locals have said, I “haven’t seen anything yet.” Oy. This Texan is excited for snow but will never truly adjust to the cold.

So instead of one big cozy top I had to plan for lots of layers, not to bundle up but to be able to shed them throughout the day. Classic Texas Christmas.

Usually when I think of mixing patterns I think polka dots and stripes or stripes and plaids. This pattern play works because there is a a complimentary color in both tops, the white, and the sizes of the patterns vary. It was also the perfect pallet to inspire a whimsical manicure.

This will most likely be my last post of the year. I hope you are blessed this season & have a fabulous new year!

Cheers to 2015, hippie loves!
