I’ve finally accepted that my winter wardrobe is extremely insufficient. Living in Texas didn’t require heavy sweaters, lots of layers or fleece lined leggings. The latter of which will be my saving grace as the temperatures continue to drop in The Burgh. I’ve been shopping and scouring stores for cozy sweaters and over-sized cardigans that have been missing from my wardrobe for, well…28 years. I came across this slightly shimmery sweater at Target and thought, “I’ll give it a shot.” On the hanger there wasn’t much appeal other than the color to be honest. When I tried it on I was pleasantly surprised and instantly fell in love. This also happened to be a day that I had “nothing to wear,” story of a woman’s life, right? When I feel limited in my choices I am much more creative with my style. These aren’t items that you would necessarily look at and put with one another, but it came together in a very Free People sort of way.
