For whatever reason florals in green and blue remind me of my childhood Easter dresses. This dress provoked the same feeling but I was very drawn to it. The print is more abstract than a traditional floral pattern and the faux crop top/high waist skirt are right on trend. Tiered dresses are figure flattering and help hide certain areas like the tummy and hips. I’m not a huge fan of high-low skirts or dresses but I was really feeling this one. It’s easy breezy, light and colorful which are all great things to look for when you’re shopping for summer wardrobe staples that can be worn to the office and reworked later for a night out with your girls. I didn’t want to look too sweet in this floral dress so a denim vest adds the perfect contrast to keep it modern and more on the casual side. Add a nude wedge and I’m ready for the office! For night, I’d ditch the vest and nude shoes and opt for my blue platform sandals and either a statement necklace or earrings. Happy hump day, hippies!
