This weekend the hubs and I have a ton of stuff to do. We will definitely be road warriors heading from San Antonio to Waco to Ennis to Dallas and back again. We are celebrating a high school graduation for my “mini-me” cousin ,Jess; a send off for my brave cousin,Nate, who is heading to the Navy to serve our country (unbelievably proud); a bachelorette party for my amazing cousin, Tiffany; and a belated Mothers’ Day/Fathers’ Day with my entire Honza side of the family (we are huge – like 26 first cousins and 80+ second cousins huge).
I’m so excited to see everyone and needed an outfit that could transition to almost all of these celebrations, minus the bachelorette party (cue hot dress). I decided to resurrect these khaki board shorts from the Land of Ago. Actually, I recently wore them to a golf tournament that was hosted by my organization, but I don’t think that counts because golf isn’t real life. I mean, Rickie Fowler has some outrageous outfits that are pretty eccentric and seem less than real, right? Rabbit hole. These board shorts paired with a cool shirt and easy sandals make for a polished, casual cool look. I almost feel like an ad for J. Crew or Gap, though none of these elements come from those places. Cheers, literally, to a fabulous weekend.
