Hippie loves…The Little Things

I don’t know what had me feeling so nostalgic this weekend. Maybe it was getting to see my parents, knowing the hubs & I have some life changes coming our way or that I got to celebrate a sweet friend’s wedding. Either way, I noticed beautiful little moments more than ever.

I organized a National Vanilla Pudding Day celebration at work. A pudding buffet is almost as good as an ice cream buffet.

An easy delicious vanilla coffee pudding recipe that was obviously a hit.

It’s hard to beat buying a new bottle of your favorite Essie nail polish. Turquoise & Caicos is my signature color.

The new Oreo flavor of summer is watermelon! Weird but good weird. They remind me of watermelon Bubblicious bubble gum. My family, particularly my Uncle B, crunched the pack in a day.

Because it’s Friday, why not?

I’m of Czech heritage and my hometown celebrated the 48th National Polka Festival this weekend. The best klobase & kraut boat you’ll ever eat followed by homemade kolaches. My heritage tastes delicious.

I love when my 14 year-old Boston Terrier, Maly (Czech for small, also an English girl’s name – I’m telling you, I take my heritage seriously) follows me around and has to be near me. It’s so sweet.

The beautiful landscaped grounds at the Earle-Harrison House & Pape Gardens in Waco where my sweet friend Kaitlin got married.

The little things in life are worth appreciating & acknowledging. Happy Hump Day, y’all!
